Terracotta is the Awadhi cuisine restaurant in Taj Vivanta in Whitefield Bangalore. We decided to try it out on our 4th Anniversary.
It is located near Ascendas IT park, even the entry gate for Taj goes from Ascendas building.
As I entered Taj Vivanta, I was mesmerized by the interiors, lights and décor of the place. From the outside, it is minimalist random pipe lights while interior is very bright and lovely. However, the interiors of the restaurant per-se are not that great.
Walk up a few stairs inside Vivanta to get to Terracotta. The kitchen is covered by glass, so you can see the chefs making your kababs.
The food menu is limited to Awadhi and Peshawari dishes both vegetarian and non-veg. We ordered Patthar pe gosht pasanda. It was a chicken starter, nicely marinated juicy chicken, spicy to the core. Loved it. But I feel the prices are exorbitant and quantity is very less.
The next we ordered was Chicken biryani, which was again very appropriately made. Not too spicy, but flavorful. Again loved this biryani.
My suggestion is go to this place if you like Indian cuisine, Awadhi/Peshawari cuisine and on special evening when you are in to mood to splurge money. All in all, a very nice evening.

Food:
They serve complimentary rice papad and biscuit type snack while you wait for your order. The food menu is limited to Awadhi and Peshawari dishes both vegetarian and non-veg. Service:
Amazing service, yes it has to be given the price they are charging. The lady who was attending us made sure that we are comfortable and our order is served on time. She also made sure our kid was comfortable. When we told them that its our Anniversary, they got us a yummy chocolate truffle pastry to celebrate it.Ambiance:
Taj Vivanta has an amazing ambiance, but the look and feel of the restaurant per-se is very formal, nothing out of the box.Price:
Expensive. A dinner for two would be around Rs.3000/- or more. Each dish is priced around 700-800/- and then there are taxes, vat etc.Location:
