China Town, KL Malaysia

The China Town also known as Petaling street is a shoppers paradise for imitation goods, soveniers and gift items, especially for those who love to bargain.
Lots and lots of stalls selling cheap clothes, fabrics, souvenirs, electronic items, watches, DVDs, CDs and more. You will find Dolce and Gabbana, Louis Vuitton, Armani and what not, albeit all immitation material.

There is a lot of bargaining that needs to be done before buying. The hawkers have learnt to speak in different languages and they improvise when they recognize you are from which country.
One salesman started calling us by saying "Accha Accha... Sasta Sasta" in hindi... very funny.
Lots of cheap food stalls, noodles, fried rice, momos and so much more. In fact there was stall which had idli dosas too..

How to Go: China town is centrally located, so just take a taxi from Petronas towers or KL tower (15-20 RM).

When to go: Anytime.. Day or night, the market is full of visitors and streetshoppers. We went during the evening time and tried vegetarian noodles and chicken momos. But beware during late evening hours, as there are many unwanted elements there.

What to do: Bargain.. Shop... and Eat

What Next : There are umpteen places to visit in KualaLampur, Petronas looks very beautiful in the night time, popular night clubs go on till 2 am and some also play bollywood music...
